hey guys, this is my first time at f&o for over a year, im under 16 and was wondering if i can just wrap a towel of some sort round the bottom of my face as protection, i have goggles but no lower face, if not is there somewhere i can by a face mask at tommorow's game?

F&O Retail should have some lower face mesh you can buy.

No, wrapping a towel around your face is not acceptable.

You would have to check with the site manager on sign in but as far as I am aware having a lower face mask and separate goggles in not considered full face by some of our managers as it does have gaps and does not cover the forehead area.

It is as I must stress the site managers decision.

Under 16's must have full face protection with no gaps between goggles and lower protection Paintball style masks, the Army of Two style masks and Sensai masks are all examples of the style allowable to under 16s. 16-18 year olds may use split upper and lower protection but it must still be of solid construction. Shemargh, scrim netting or tea towel does not constitute lower face protection.

Most sites will be happy to lend you a full face mask for free if you arent hiring too (we certainly offer this down at Bolton anyway)
