DMR question

2 posts in this topic

Currently building an M4 DMR and its is averaging 405 fps is there any allowance in the 400fps limit or is that the complete maximum if so would using higher weight bbs bring the fps down?

also, on the website it states they must be locked to semi auto, does this have to be done internally or can I lock the switch externally by either removing the selector or putting a small bolt in to stop the selector moving.

thanks

The maximum for DMR's is 400fps on a .2 bb, with no room for variance. In other words 400fps is the limit for DMR's. Using heavier bb's to bring the fps down would make no difference really, as you would be asked to chrono your gun on .2 bb's thus your gun would still be over.

As for locking your DMR to semi auto, I think it has to be done interally.

Hope this help =)
